This is group of professionals that I’ve worked with in the past and who have proven their capability, reliability and expertise time and time again. I would not hesitate to recommend their services to any of my clients.
Gary Wyber is an ace renovator (and my husband). He has a 25-year history in residential design and construction and specializes in redesign, home improvement and renovation projects. Whether you’re a buyer or seller, Gary has the talent and skill to provide an on-the-spot inspection, creative advice, innovative ideas, project assessment and accurate pricing.
Buyers can obtain valuable information prior to making a final decision to purchase a home, so they’re armed with an accurate assessment of future renovation costs based on facts and figures. Gary can comment on the current condition and construction of a house and provide options for improvements over both the short- and long-term.
Sellers can benefit from creative cost-saving approaches that improve return on investment and increase market value.
If and when you decide to go ahead with improvements or renovation, Gary can provide hands-on project management and access to a wide range of local trade professionals to complete the project on time and within budget.
In short, Gary is excellent at what he does. Ask anybody. He has an intuitive eye and natural talent for scoping out solutions to any situation related to construction. And he can cook too.
I first met Tracy at the Seniors Day Fair in Dundas in 2011 and saw her again at other similar events. When I had an opportunity to call upon her services to help a client of mine downsize, I was not disappointed. Quite the opposite in fact—her “Moving Service for Seniors” is professionally organized and compassionately delivered. She proved to be quick and efficient when it came to the physical work and, just as important, she displayed kindness and patience toward my client, which I value very highly.
Not only is Tracy qualified as an organizing professional, she is a highly talented staging and redesign consultant. She helped my client to “de-clutter,” which segued nicely into staging the house so it looked its absolute best to sell. She also helped to plan what possessions should make the journey to the condominium my client had purchased. Tracy helped to donate and dispose of unwanted items, prepared the new home, and unpacked, set up and organized everything after moving day.
My client was relieved of much of the stress that accompanies a move and I was glad to see Tracy “in action” so to speak. As part of my network, she’s a huge asset.
I met Abeer Musleh, owner of Home Staging Accents, through Toastmasters. Abeer has an impressive degree from the Sheffield School of Interior Design in New York, a background as a professional engineer and years of experience working on interior design, home staging and remodelling projects. She’s warm and approachable, creative and enthusiastic. Those qualities, combined with her experience and passion for what she does, means I can trust her with my clients, know she will get the job done and that my clients will be happy. Win-win-win.
Abeer offers various levels of service from consultations to partial staging (do-it-yourself) to full staging and she tailors her services to meet the client’s needs. Her mission statement is “sell faster sell smarter.” Abeer stages houses in a smart and creative way. She also provides interior decorating advice even if you’re not moving. She loves what she does and it shows.
Time and time again he has proven to be punctual, efficient, thorough and friendly. Yes, friendly. John methodically goes through the whole house—the exterior (including the roof) and interior (including insulation, plumbing, roofing, heating and cooling systems, and structural)—and takes the time to explain to the buyers (and me) what he’s looking for along the way and what he’s found.
John encourages questions and answers them thoroughly. He knows his stuff. In addition to providing a professional, unbiased analysis of the home, John makes recommendations for correction of safety hazards. At the end of the day, he produces a comprehensive report of his findings, including photos, which is emailed to the homeowner. I know I can always rely on John to do an excellent home inspection, leaving no stone unturned. (Well, not the ones he can move anyway!)
Yvonne has a nursing background and started Alert/Best 10 years ago and Lisa joined the team four years later. Together, they provide excellent 24/7 care to seniors in the Hamilton area as well as Haldimand-Brant, Niagara and Halton-Peel. Registered nurses, registered practical nurses, personal support workers, attendants and homemakers provide the care. For those elderly clients who choose to stay in their own homes, Alert/Best offer a range of services from personal care and light housekeeping to escort, companionship and convalescence, thus helping to make the goal of independent living possible. I need to be able to trust the people I refer my senior clients to. With Yvonne and Lisa, I know those I care about will be well looked after.
We make the process of downsizing simpler, breaking it down into smaller size pieces to alleviate the stress of such a seemingly daunting task. Whether we are there as Advisors or take care of the process for you, we will complete it in a compassionate and caring way.
Many people are moving to smaller properties for reasons of convenience, finances or lifestyle.
Sometimes the process can seem overwhelming, especially when possessions accumulated over a lifetime seemed to have taken over your space.
Perhaps you have a parent who can no longer live on their own and you may not have the time or resources to attend to all that is required.
I have always been impressed and grateful for Jennifer Iachelli’s prompt attention to any requests or questions I have regarding a mortgage or financial restructuring. As a real estate agent, it’s important that I have someone who I can trust and know will give 100% of herself to the task at hand. Jennifer is well connected, knowledgeable, confident and great to work with. In fact she’s become a friend. I feel fortunate to have her as part of my network of exceptional specialists and I’m always happy to refer her to new clients.
